I'm back!

I am now assisting Tomas, the owner of the salon so that means very soon my station is all ready for me! :) It's insane being his assistant, buuut I make hell of alot more money and like I mentioned before, I'll get my own station soon!!! Stylists that just get their own station build their clientele less than a year because we get lots of walkins and good reviews, fuck yeah!

Last thursday Bravo TV came by for interviews, they were suppose to do it in April, but Tomas wasn't sure yet. They came in took photos of the salon and each of us. For my interview they ask questions about what changes I want in the salon and of course they tried to get some "gossip" out of me, but I just laughed and said we don't have any drama for them really. What the show is about is making a makeover salon reality show, not that our salon is in bad conditon, but hey, everything can always use a little upgrade. So we'll see how this goes, they might not even air it, but whatever happens happens.

Enough about work, I've been spending a ridiculous amount of time with Kayla. I swear, me and that girl always have the best of times. Possibly in the near future after we both get some traveling out of our system, there is talk on getting a place of our own. We both have stable jobs that pay well, aren't slobs, and pretty damn responsible on paying our bills, plus most importantly we get along famously.

May 15-June 15 my mother leaves for the philippines on vacation...house to myself...

Tomas puts up a sign on our message board at work that reads, "Bravo TV will be here Thursday. Wear your best Tranny Outfit." HAHAHAHA, that's some funny shit.

Apparently, my boss just informed everyone at work that BRAVO TV is coming sometime next week to interview all of us from this new tv series. I guess the girl who won "Shear Genius" Season 1 is having her own show and going to certain salons, that's all I really know. Hmm, this should be interesting. I'm not even sure if this will go through, but that's pretty cool though.

I last left off talking about me & Shawnsy's 2 year anniversary. It was wonderful of course, and next week he turns 28! I met him when he was 25! It amazes me how time goes by so quick.

Also life has still been treating me good, I look around me at all the things I am so lucky to have. I think we all need to step back and recognize all we have at the moment instead of regretting the past. We have to just move forward and not take what we have for granted now.

Easter/ My 2 years with Shawn was great! We had sushi at our favorite spot, and just spent some good quality time together. It was sooo nice!

Anyways, so the fuckin' photographer who shot our photoshoot was majorly lagging it, but FINALLY the photos are here!!! I had soooo much fun doing this and can't wait for our next one!

While we were dating

Last sunday was our salon photoshoot, the three modles rocked it! I had sooo much fun just getting the models ready and I can't wait till it's all done and ready!

Valentine's day was awesome, Shawnsy & i decided to celebrate it the weekend after because I don't know about you, but i hate waiting forever just to sit down, eat and hang out.

Lately, I have been sticking to my "2008 Resolutions", yup, haven't forgotten them, of course some can't be accomplish right away but so far on to a good steady path. I've been making sure i incorporate fruits and veggies in my meal at all times( i've been doing this for quite some time) but making sure i'm still doing it. Saving more money towards my moving out/ travel fund, it's growing! $$$$


Also the past few weekends I am once again reminded how truly lucky i am to have such great, and i mean this, great friends that love me. You know it's true friendship when they stick by you through thick and thin...

It's been awhile since I've posted anything or been on here as well. Just been real busy(ha, what else is new, right?) with work, and just having fun adventures.

I am currently working on a photoshoot that Underground Salon is putting on, I am super excited on the outcome. We have 3 models and the look is set in a cocktail, loungy party.
Model one: will demonstrated short textured curls.
Model two: more of an androgynous look.
Model three: big big biiiiig hair. (color & cut will be done by me)
(I will definately show the photos once it's done!)

Other things going on with me recently, Shawn and I still going on strong(wow two years is coming up! Yikes!) Last week I had the stomach flu and Shawn came over bought me flowers, food (although I was still kinda sick and puked it up after, real sexy!) but still, things like that stick in your mind.

Also Kayla and I wanted to do something fabulous and we did...we saw Hedwig & The Angry Inch play!!!!!!!!!!!!! We sat in the very front and Hedwig picked on us and danced with us, it was amazing! What would've made the night even more fabulous than seeing a rock n roll transvestite is if we ate at Hamburger Mary's buuut next time!

Well, Christmas is all done with, and now the New Year! This Year went pretty smooth..A little bit of lows but really, I can see such a HUGE improvement each year with myself! I'm going to try to keep doing better as time goes on!

Here's to a New GOOD Year! And what a good way to start by dancing to Justice!

Holy shit, this whole month is BUSY BUSY so far! Booked in appointments at the salon and after! Well, gotta make that extra cash!

Got pretty much all my christmas gifts together. I don't exactly know what it is but, I am really into christmas this year.
I am incredibly tired from work, but will go out dancing tonight with the boyfriend, Lil' Puppet, and others.

Saturday will be 60s soul/funk dance party or something else.
Sunday my salon is doing the "big red bus" and it's going to be awesome! And yes that big red bus will be stocked up with some yummy drinks.

Me, Kayla, and Joanne are going to see Justice on New Years eve, fuck yeah!

The 3rd Underground Salon Art Show was a success!!! Thanks for those who came out! I'm just stoked to have this art on our walls till they get sold or next art show also it's awesome that the money they made is going to people with MS.

My thanksgiving was pretty good. Just stayed in with the fam bam, so nothing "cra-zay".
I have a 5 day weekend, now what the hell do I do??? Sooo much!

Me & my friend, Joanne went to "Body Centre, Day Spa" in Costa Mesa, and had a 1.5 hour full body message!!! Uuuuuuuggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh, I haven't gotten one of those in soooo long! I wish I had the time to always get that done! They had a holiday special so I bought one for my mom(oh she's gonna love it!). Slowly but surely I've been buying little gifts or getting some ideas for people for christmas.

I did want to do the day after thanksgiving sales, buuuut I don't sleep in very often and it was nice to lay in bed with Shawnsy all day.


Okay I'm off to dinner with Shawnsy & his mom.
